Areleh Neuman - Sofer and Sofer Supervisor

Aryeh Neuman, known by his friends as "Areleh". Has been a Sofer Stam, writing Mezuzote, Tephilin and Torah scrolls for more than 40 years . Throughout his career he has written over 30 Torah scrolls some for communities in Israel and others for Shuls in the diaspora. He also serves as an agent and supervisor for several Sofrim working throughout Israel.

In the case of the Rabbi Daniel Beller z"l Memorial Sefer Torah, Areleh will be serving as a Sofer-Supervisor. , supervising the progress of the Sofer who is actually doing the writing. The writer who is a very modest Hassidic gentleman prefers to be known only as "Asher" from Haifa.

The final words and letters of the Sefer Torah will be written by Areleh on the morning of Friday the 1st of April in Raanana prior to the procession leading to Beit HaKnesset Shivtei Yisroel where Rabbi Beller z"l served as Rabbi for 17 years.
