Rabbi Daniel Beller zt"l
From his birthplace of Hertfordshire, England, through Johannesburg, South Africa, and Ra'anana, Israel - Rabbi Beller's life mission was to enrich those around him with a love for Torah and Judaism.
His depth of knowledge, insights, and sensitivity drew thousands from all ages and beliefs to his teachings - all brought to life through acting skills that made every meeting with him a memorable experience.

With a specialty for weddings, Rabbi Beller's speeches were masterpieces of wisdom for young couples under the chuppah, and his mark was always left on the dance floor, thanks to bounds of energy, simcha, and a never ending zest to celebrate life.
Our Sefer
Torah PROJECT
While there is no way to recreate what Rav Beller's persona gave to those who knew him, our Sefer Torah will be used specifically for the kind of Jewish education programs that he believed in.
The Torah will be in ongoing use for education projects with our partners - Tzohar, as well as a central part of their ongoing Bar-Mitzvah programs, enabling Bar Mitzva boys from nonaffiliated families to have the experience of an Aliyah from a Sefer Torah.​ It will also be used at Tzohar’s open Minyanim welcoming wider Israeli society, and return home to Beit Knesset Shivtei Yisrael for special occasions.
